Fix Issues with New Tesla Deliveries – Pro Tip

If you’re a new Tesla owner and have just taken delivery of your car, you may encounter some issues with certain features not working properly. One common issue is the “Cabin Overheat Protection” feature, which is designed to keep the interior of your car at a comfortable temperature even when parked in the sun.

You may also find that the “Dashcam Save Footage Button” and “Honk to Save Footage” features are not working. Don’t worry, this is a common issue and can be easily fixed.

The most likely cause of these problems is that your new Tesla has not been flagged as “delivered” in Tesla’s backend database. This means that some of the features may not be activated yet.

To fix this, you should contact your Tesla representative and ask them to get in touch with your local delivery center. They can re-push the delivered status of your car on both the old and new systems, which should resolve the issue.

Once this has been done, you should be able to enjoy all of the features of your new Tesla, including Cabin Overheat Protection, Dashcam Save Footage, and Honk to Save Footage. You’ll also be greeted with a welcome screen when you get back into your car, confirming that the status has been updated.
